Vacancies: short-term consultancies on waste-finance projects
As part of the Waste Finance Programme that C40 Cities is implementing on behalf of CCAC, we would like to bring to your attention two vacancy announcements for short-term consultancies on waste-finance projects in eThekwini and Quito.
Both projects are very similar and entail mostly financial modelling to determine the cost of new waste infrastructure(s) in each city and how these increased costs can be covered through added municipal budget devoted to waste operations. Both cities will be finalising their new Integrated Waste Management Plans and Climate Action Plans over the next few months and we would like to ensure that each city’s ambitions and targets with regards to increased intermediate treatment and diversion are coherent with their current and expected financial possibilities.
The engagement for Quito also requires knowledge of Spanish.
