Alay Patel is the Lead India Advisor to the IEA since 2023. He spent over 15 years at Wood MacKenzie and is a global thought-leader working on oil and gas, carbon capture and storage, and other areas within the energy sector.  He has led research and development for products focusing on oil and gas valuations, commodity forecasting, energy investments and policy analysis. Alay holds a Masters in Business Administration from Rice University and a BSc. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Houston.
