Mr Baljeet Singh

Mr. Baljeet Singh is a seasoned oil and gas professional with around 35 years of experience, with a distinguished career spanning major refinery projects, clean fuels and India’s energy transition. During his tenure at HPCL, he played a key role in the rollout of BS-IV and BS-VI fuels from Visakh Refinery and led the Visakh Refinery Modernisation Project as Process Head, overseeing an expansion valued at approximately Rs. 30,000 crore (US$3.4 billion).
He currently serves as Director of the Centre for High Technology (CHT), the technical arm of India’s Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas (MoPNG), where his work covers green hydrogen and the energy transition, refinery performance and reliability, biofuels and compressed biogas (CBG), and research and development.
