Tanuj Sharma is working in Invest India as Senior Assistant Vice President. He leads the Biofuel vertical alongwith the conventional fossil sector of Oil & Gas. Tanuj engages with several global major energy companies to support and facilitate their India market journey. 

He has around 19 years of experience in the energy sector. His experience spans across research & consulting, business analysis & planning, audits, P&L Management, Key Accounts Management, strategic advisory, and business development. He has working exposure of conventional energy and new energy sources, including energy transition. 

Tanuj has assisted several clients in India and abroad for go-to market studies, strategic investment, new business initiatives, roadmap & framework development, market entry strategies, transaction advisory services, organizational restructuring, benchmarking consulting and revenue impacting studies; delivering impactful revenue and strategic solutions. Tanuj has also worked on several PPP projects for bid process advisory. 

Tanuj is a regular speaker in various conferences and forums, on varied topics in energy sector; including LNG, CGD, Biofuels, e-Fuels, Green Hydrogen, CCUS, Sustainability and Energy Transition. 

By qualification, Tanuj is B.Tech. – Electrical Engineering (Honours) from NIT Kurukshetra and MBA – Oil & Gas Management (Rank Holder) from UPES, Dehradun. His hobbies include travelling, high-altitude trekking and camping.
