Mr Ashish Kumar

Managing Director, VERBIO India

Ashish Kumar is the Managing Director of VERBIO India Pvt. Ltd., a position he has held since February 2019. In addition to his leadership role at VERBIO, he serves as the Vice Chairperson of the CBG Producers Forum under the Indian Federation of Green Energy (IFGE) and is an active member of the CII National Committee on Bioenergy – Subgroup CBG. He also contributes his expertise to several government initiatives, including the Committee for the Offtake of Biofertilizers under the SATAT scheme and the Task Force for CBG Production Units in Punjab.

Mr. Kumar holds a seat on the board of Euro Asia Consulting Pvt. Ltd. (EAC), further extending his influence in the energy and consulting sectors. Prior to his corporate career, he served as an officer in the Indian Navy, bringing a disciplined and strategic approach to his professional undertakings.

He holds an MBA in International Business from HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management, Germany, a Master of Science (MS) from BITS Pilani, India, and a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) from Nagpur University, India.
