January 2019 biogas investment update from AcuComm
AcuComm reported on seven new anaerobic digestion/biogas or landfill gas projects in January 2019.
These have a combined value of US$141 million. Estimated annual feedstock tonnage is 334,459 tonnes, and power output is 29 MW, equal to an average of 149 tonnes per day and 4 MW per project.
Organic (general/unspecified) was the leading feedstock type for projects reported this month, accounting for US$63 million, equal to 45% of the total.
Belarus was the leading country in January 2019, accounting for one project with a total value of US$35 million.
