Flávio Ascenco is a highly experienced and proactive Senior Technical Lead with over a decade experience in the biogas and renewable energy sectors. With a commercial mindset and a passion for sustainable growth, Flavio has consistently demonstrated his ability to manage complex projects and optimize operational performance. Currently working at the World Biogas Association and ADBA since September 2023, he is responsible for project management, strategic goal implementation, and knowledge sharing across the globe. His role involves regular interaction with government bodies and key stakeholders, offering technical advice, generate standard practices for the industry  and support for the development of biogas plants.

Flavio’s previous roles include Area Manager at Eco Verde Energy, where he oversaw multiple sites, managed senior leadership teams, and developed new projects to enhance plant performance. With a solid foundation in health and safety, he has implemented best practices across various sites and led teams to success.

His technical expertise is complemented by a range of certifications in waste and resource management, environmental operations, and safety procedures. Flavio’s leadership style is characterized by his ability to inspire teams, think outside the box, and deliver innovative solutions to industry challenges.
