With over 30 years of experience as an environmental activist, policy analyst, and communications specialist, David is a powerful voice in the transition toward a more sustainable, circular economy. Currently serving as Communications Manager at CO2BIOCLEAN GmbH and Chairman of the European Bioeconomy Bureau, David is deeply involved in promoting innovative low-carbon technologies and advancing EU policies that protect natural capital—especially soil. At CO2BIOCLEAN, he supports the launch of a pioneering biopolymer pilot plant in Germany.
A published author of Everything is Connected, David combines decades of hands-on activism with deep research in political and economic mechanisms for environmental change. His career spans roles at Greenpeace, government agencies, and both private and public sectors across Europe and internationally. Passionate about calling out misinformation and fostering informed dialogue, David is now focused on supporting research consortia with funding access, policy analysis, and communications.
