David Hurren is a clean tech business consultant with deep expertise in renewable gases, including biomethane, hydrogen, and CO₂ recovery. He previously led Air Liquide Biogas Solutions UK, growing it into one of the UK’s top biomethane players with over 30 sites.

David has 25+ years’ experience in the industrial gases sector, including leadership roles in helium, speciality gases, and CO₂ purification. He is a council member and past President of the British Compressed Gases Association, and Vice Chair of the REA’s Green Gas Committee. A frequent industry advisor and speaker, David is passionate about advancing sustainable gas solutions across the UK and Europe.
