Charlotte Morton, Chief Executive of the World Biogas Association, was also among the distinguished speakers at the webinar “Indonesia Towards Net Zero Emission 2060: Bioenergy Strategy to Support Energy Transition.” It was organised by the Indonesian and German governments.

She presented WBA’s global report “Biogas: Pathways to 2030. She also used WBA’s new Biogas Benefits Calculator to formulate, “In Indonesia, biogas could displace 68% of the country’s natural gas demand, reduce the country’s GHG emissions by 12.1%, while creating 160,000 direct jobs.” Moreover, she discussed how WBA can support the Indonesian government in developing the Indonesian biogas industry.
