Value4Farm is a Horizon Europe-funded research and innovation project which aims to contribute to the decarbonisation of European agriculture.

The project creates a value chain for farming based on combining technologies such as agrivoltaics, biogas, microturbines and green biorefineries to produce renewable energy with sustainable farming and food production. By developing and testing practical tools and methods, including a decision-support system for farmers, Value4Farm seeks to demonstrate the viability of sustainable, circular models that meet farmers’ needs. These systems will be demonstrated in different settings and climates to support wide-scale adoption across Europe and beyond.

Value4Farm brings together 14 partners from across Europe, working on three demonstration sites in Belgium, Denmark and Italy, and three replication sites in Iceland, Italy and Poland.  WBA is a partner in the Value4Farm project, leading on Communication, Dissemination and Exploitation objectives.

This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon Europe Research and Innovation Programme under Grant Agreement No. 101116076.
