The World Biogas Association (WBA), through its #MakingBiogasHappen (MBH) programme, has developed globally recognised best‑practice guidance for policymakers – Global Biogas Regulatory Framework(GBRF) and for industry stakeholders – ADCS International cementing our position as the world’s leading knowledge authority for the biogas sector.
Building on this expertise, WBA was commissioned to benchmark Brazil’s biogas policies, regulations, and – where relevant – technology pathways against those of 11 other countries using the GBRF as the core assessment framework.
Brazil is on the cusp of a transformative biogas boom, and the insights captured in this report are designed to help accelerate the sector’s growth in a sustainable, safe, and scalable manner.
