December 2018 biogas investment update from AcuComm
AcuComm reported on seven new anaerobic digestion/biogas or landfill gas projects in December 2018.
These have a combined value of US$193 million. Estimated annual feedstock tonnage is 597,715 tonnes, and power output is 21 MW, equal to an average of 267 tonnes per day and 3 MW per project.
Sewage/wastewater was the leading feedstock type for projects reported this month, accounting for US$73 million, equal to 38% of the total.
The United Kingdom was the leading country in December 2018, accounting for two projects with a total value of US$89 million.
