✪ GHG Protocol – October Update – (Infamous) 2023 Interim Update Amended and Next Steps for the AMI Standard

The World Biogas Association (WBA) continues to advance its advocacy efforts to secure appropriate recognition of biomethane certificates within the GHG Protocol (GHGP) framework. Since our June update, we have been pressing the GHGP to address the uncertainty created by its 2023 guidance on biomethane certificates, and this month we have a result to report. 

This update covers two developments our members should be aware of.
