The World Biogas Association and the Global Alliance for Incinerator Alternatives (GAIA) will be co-hosting an official event at COP27 taking place in Sharm-el-Sheik, Egypt. 

The panel discussion themed as “Methane from the Waste Sector: Opportunities and Challenges to Deliver the Global Methane Pledge” will take place on  Thursday, 17 Nov 2022, 16:45—18:15 local time, in Thutmose in the Blue Zone of COP27.

The World Biogas Association is the global trade association for the biogas, landfill gas and anaerobic digestion (AD) sectors, dedicated to facilitating the adoption of biogas globally.
