We Are Orchard, the management agency for the UK’s Anaerobic Digestion and Bioresources Association (ADBA) and the World Biogas Association (WBA), is looking to recruit a Chief Operating Officer to facilitate the delivery of its clients’ ambitious sustainability agenda.
Last month, WBA and key corporate members published a commitment by the biogas industry to reduce global greenhouse gases (GHG) emissions by at least 12% by 2030, a commitment supported by ADBA and its members.
Orchard is looking for a results-driven leader to bring out the best in its dedicated team and to develop and coordinate all its business operations and skillsets. The COO will play a critical role in helping to deliver the biogas industry’s 12% ambition in a decade.
As well as being passionate about sustainability and climate change, the successful candidate will be a detail-oriented Integrator, with an instinctive ability to recognise, retain, and respect the talent within the organisation. The COO will also be expected to support and mentor employees to help them to reach their full potential. This experienced and dedicated leader will possess excellent people skills, business acumen, and have an exemplary work ethic. The ideal individual will also be a strategic planner with the essential ability to specify, strategise and define opportunities.
