Biogas: the pathway to 2030
The next landmark report from WBA
Last year, WBA reported in our Global Potential of Biogas report that the biogas industry could reduce global GHG emissions by at least 12%. Our members subsequently committed to the UNFCCC at COP25 to deliver that potential by 2030, subject to getting the necessary support from governments around the world. We are now in the process of mapping the delivery plan for this goal to be achieved, and are seeking input from the biogas industry worldwide.
We have launched a survey to help us identify the regional barriers inhibiting industry growth and possible solutions to overcome them. Your crucial insights will shape our lobbying efforts, promoting the widespread development of the sector, and feed into our upcoming report “Biogas: the pathway to 2030” – due to launch at the World Biogas Summit 2020 on 6th-8th October, 2020.
We encourage everyone operating in the biogas sector to complete this 15-minute survey – the more detail you can provide, the better.
